When God is in Control

(Please read "The Purpose of Psalms," May 9, 2010, for background information)

When God is in control – we can be at rest
When God is in control – we can stand steadfast
When God is in control – we can laugh unabashedly
When God is in control – we can cry unashamedly
When God is in control – we can be confident and bold
When God is in control – we have something, on which to hold
When God is in control – our tears will not be wasted
When God is in control – our dreams are secure, untainted
When God is in control – our goals may have to change
When God is in control – our circumstances will shift and wane
When God is in control – evil may roar and shriek
When God is in control – the enemy will scream, but in defeat
When God is in control – the “wait” is long and hard
When God is in control – patience must be our guard
When God is in control – our hearts will be tested and tried
When God is in control – our strength will be purified
When God is in control – our wills must be surrendered
When God is in control – our desires must be fettered
When God is in control – the “good” will “win the day”
When God is in control – our sins are washed away
When God is in control – He’s always in control
